Job Location: Cleveland OH
Job Duration: 12 months on W2
Shift: Sunday Thursday, 10:00 PM 6:30 AM

Job Summary:

The Quality Control (QC) Analyst is responsible for performing scientific analyses to evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products. This role ensures compliance with established quality standards through biological and chemical testing. The position supports laboratory operations by compiling and analyzing data, documenting results, and assisting in maintaining quality systems under direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine scientific testing and analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods.
  • Conduct and validate biological and chemical assays in accordance with established protocols.
  • Compile, interpret, and document test results to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Identify and report deviations, inconsistencies, or out-of-specification (OOS) results.
  • Maintain accurate and complete laboratory documentation in line with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Assist in developing assay specifications and contribute to writing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Support quality investigations and corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality guidelines within the laboratory environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and quality control processes.
  • Familiarity with biological and chemical assay methods is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under direct supervision in a structured environment.

Work Environment:

  • Laboratory-based role working on projects of limited complexity.
  • Operates under the guidance of a supervisor or manager.
  • Night shift schedule requiring availability from Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
