The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Laboratory Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Sedalia, MO. Details for the position are as follows:
Laboratory Technician
Location: Sedalia, MO
Pay Rate: $24/hr
Duration: 2 Months (Potential Extension)
JOB SUMMARY
Perform testing, evaluation, and documentation of incoming materials, in-process samples, and finished products within a quality control laboratory environment. Conduct physical measurements using precision instruments such as calipers and support process investigations through audits, observations, and measurement collection. Troubleshoot laboratory testing equipment, maintain scientific records, and prepare routine reports. Utilize Microsoft Excel and Windows-based systems for data entry, reporting, and file management. Follow standard operating procedures and quality control protocols in a manufacturing setting.
Shift Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday
- Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
- Onsite interview required
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Required Skills
- Quality control laboratory testing
- Physical measurement tools including calipers
- Laboratory test equipment troubleshooting
- Scientific documentation and routine report writing
- Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Windows operating systems
- Data entry and electronic file management
- Manufacturing quality inspection processes
- Process measurements and audit support
- Laboratory sample evaluation and documentation
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a physical testing laboratory
