Our NW based client is currently looking to recruit an Analytical Method Development Specialist to perform complex method development and validation using HPLC / UPLC on a variety of synthesised chemicals and API molecules. This is a hands-on role and would suit someone who enjoys developing novel methods from first principles in busy commercial manufacturing environment.
Additional duties for this role will include :
Leading a team of Analytical Chemists, assisting with ongoing project work when required
Ensuring compliance to analytical CMC regulations to support both early and late stage API development projects
Instrument and method trouble-shooting
Working with Synthetic / Process Chemists to understand synthesised chemicals to ultimately ensure the successful analysis of a range of molecules
Leading on a number of analytical projects, defining scope of project and milestones
Understanding / performing analyses with a range of other chromatography, spectroscopy and wet chemistry techniques including NMR
Completing detailed reports
Understanding new approaches in analytical methodologies and techniques and implementing method improvements
