Job Title: Biomedical Engineer
Contract Duration: 3 Months
Location: Falls Church, VA
Work Type: Onsite. 3 pm – 11.30 pm (no patient facing)

Job Description:

  • The Biomedical Engineer is responsible for Preventative Maintenance and Repair of Medical Equipment.
  • Provides the highest levels of customer service.
  • Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the service management system database.
  • Manages the technical support of hardware and software of medical equipment/information systems in order to maintain continued patient monitoring and ensure the continued workings of the electronic interfaces from various devices to the electronic medical records systems.
  • Installation, integration, and initial operation of the clinical & ancillary departments for the medical equipment environment.
  • The Biomedical Engineer provides thorough analysis, timely resolution, and follow-up to problem issues, assigned tasks, and requests for special projects related to supporting the continued operations of patient care and business operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4 years of direct experience in Electronics, mechanical, clinical engineering, biomedical engineering, information technology, and network infrastructure.
  • Experience in using an array of electronic/ medical test equipment and network analyzers.
  • AA, BS or Equivalent Program completion or 7 years of directly related work experience.
  • Completion of 2 vendor training courses or equivalent electronic, Information Technology/Information Systems experience.
  • Use of multi-meter, safety analyzer, ESU analyzer, pressure meter, force dial, Defibrillator analyzers, and Patient simulator.
