Salary: £50,000 per annum

Are you an experienced and passionate clinical leader looking for your next step? I am recruiting for a dedicated Deputy Manager (Clinical) to support the Home Manager in delivering outstanding, person-centred nursing care within a well-established care home in Walton-On-Thames.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident NMC registered nurse with Deputy Manager experience who is committed to achieving excellence in care, clinical governance, and regulatory compliance.

The Role

As Deputy Manager (Clinical), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care in line with CQC standards and best practice guidelines.
You will:

Provide strong clinical leadership to nursing and care teams
Promote person-centred care that upholds dignity, choice, and wellbeing
Take responsibility for clinical governance and oversee the service in the absence of the Home Manager
Ensure compliance with CQC requirements and company policies
Mentor, supervise, and support nurses and care staff
Conduct clinical audits and oversee medication management
Review, update, and evaluate care plans
Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping
Complete pre-admission and risk assessments
Liaise effectively with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies
Safeguard residents by identifying appropriate referral pathwaysAbout You We are looking for someone who is:

An NMC registered nurse with relevant clinical experience (essential)
Experienced in a Deputy Home Manager role
Knowledgeable in CQC standards and regulatory requirements
Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
Skilled at building strong working relationships with families, professionals, and staff
Confident in promoting shared ownership of care programmes with residents and families
Proactive, organised, and able to lead by exampleWhat You’ll Gain
