River Valley Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team!

In this role, you will:
- Provide exceptional patient and client care by ensuring an efficient exam room workflow.
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records.
- Review treatment plans and discharge instructions with clients, answering questions with empathy and clarity.
- Support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient care and procedures to ensure the highest level of patient care.
This position is ideal for technicians who excel in client engagement and schedule management while delivering exceptional care and communication.
This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule – you will have the option to work a 4/10 or 5/8 schedule and rotating Saturday availability is required.
Full-time benefits and compensation**:
- Compensation: $16-$19 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $2000
- CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
- 5+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Arkansas
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Anesthesia induction and monitoring
- Dental prophy and radiographs
- Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
- Microscopic evaluation
- Client communication and education
