This job is with a lab that offers cross training opportunities and the opportunity to be part of cross-function process improvement teams. In Fiscal Year 2021, the lab performed 4.2 million tests (including 72,892 Anatomical Pathology tests, 189,392 SARS-COV2 tests, and 157,315 inpatient phlebotomy draws). The department consists of over 190 medical laboratory professionals. As a Clinical Department Supervisor of Chemistry Lab you would be responsible for daily supervision of activities associated with pathology and clinical laboratory Services.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in clinical/medical laboratory science OR Bachelor’s in some other field of study AND completion of a Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science program.
Seeking strong chemistry background.
Certification and Licensure.
ASCP or AMT Registration.
Excellent Communications Skills.
Excellent Interpersonal Skills.
Microsoft Office Applications.
