Position Summary:
We are actively recruiting for a research coordinator to join our team at Clayton Eye Center.

Responsibilities:
A Research Coordinator I will be expected to meet the following performance benchmarks:
- Adhere to CEC and CECR policies and procedures which include HIPAA, OSHA, EEO regulations, CECR SOPs and GCPs.
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely and organized manner to meet enrollment goals and sponsor timelines
- Effectively communicate deadlines, challenges, and expectations with director, team lead and more experienced coordinators in the team to share the occurrence and learn how to manage the situations.
- Work ethically and with integrity, performing all tasks to GCP standards.
- Exhibit sound judgment, making timely decisions independently and seeking guidance from director and team lead when appropriate. Ability to successfully delegate tasks to research assistants when appropriate.
- Demonstrate organizational skills, accuracy and thoroughness when completing all tasks
- Adaptability and willingness to work flexible hours (which include some weekends and evenings as needed)
Qualifications:
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• 2+ years in healthcare, preferably ophthalmology, but not necessarily in clinical research
• Analytical mindset
• Attention to detail
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment
• Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook
• High school diploma or equivalent GED
