The Opportunity
The Clinical Research Associate II is responsible for execution and monitoring of internal and external clinical studies of limited scope. Will participate in the development of operating procedures while following standard and complex procedures in executing studies, evaluation and documentation of results.
What You’ll Work On
Participate in the design, execution and monitoring of internal clinical studies.
Participates in the design, training and monitoring of Abbott sponsored external clinical studies.
Participates in the development and maintenance of operating procedures.
Communicates effectively the outcomes of the study to cross functional teams.
Required Qualifications
Associate degree required and Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in conducting clinical studies or related laboratory skills with an Associate degree or 2 years of experience in conducting clinical studies or related laboratory skills with a Bachelor’s degree is required. In lieu of an associate degree, a minimum of six years of experience in conducting clinical research or laboratory experience in biology or related field is required.
Travel Requirements
Must be able to travel 30% to 50% and be onsite at Alameda, CA location when not on travel.
