We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist with strong SQL skills, machine learning, and big data experience to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in the financial or health industry and should be passionate about using data to drive business decisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining data-driven solutions and strategies that can help drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect and analyze large, complex datasets using SQL, statistical and machine learning techniques to identify trends and patterns.

Develop predictive models and algorithms to support business decisions.

Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven solutions and strategies.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements and develop customized analytical solutions.

Present insights and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.

Continuously monitor and improve the quality and accuracy of data in a big data environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Health Informatics, or related field.

2-3 years of experience in data science or related field, with a focus on the financial or health industry.

Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

Experience with machine learning techniques and big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
