Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $80k-$135k (depending on experience)
Work Location: Hybrid remote/in-office (see onsite requirements below).
**On-Site Requirements: Position will require on-site work at Patuxent River, MD one – two days per week. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.
Job Description:
- Perform data collection, data analysis, testing, and troubleshooting on large quantities of corporate operations, logistics, or aircraft maintenance data.
- Extract, transform, and load data using TOAD, SQL, Python, and/or Informatica.
- Provide configuration and/or data management for data, information, files, and documents.
- Analyze relevant and existing data available in published Tableau/Qlik dashboards that align with program mission; ingest and/or integrate into the ADTS environment.
- Explore relevant data within the NAE data environment and determine what data may be of interest/influence to RCB-related activities. Determine most appropriate methods of rendering data accessible to the RCB/ADTS environment.
- Become the resident DECKPLATE / MRO / AMSRR expert on the development team to be able to quickly validate data / answer questions related to ADTS/development activities.
- Utilize prescribed methods of data modeling to develop predictive or scenario-based analytical solutions and determine best methods for incorporation into RCB digital toolkit.
- Explore NLP and AI options to further enhance the capabilities of the RCB digital toolkit using available NAE maintenance and readiness data.

Requirements
Required:
- Experience developing and executing SQL queries in Business Objects/TOAD/Cognos or similar BI tools.
- Familiarity with visualization tools such as Qlik, Tableau or Power BI.
- Experiencing utilizing Python to analyze/transport data.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word and Excel (mail merge, pivot tables, macros, VBA).
- BS/BA degree and minimum of 3 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 7 years related experience OR HS and 9 years related experience. Advanced degree in related subject preferred.
Desired:
- Experience in performing statistical analysis of data, including regression analysis, hypothesis testing, standard deviation, and predictive analysis.
- Experience developing/creating reports with Business Objects or other BI query tool.
- Experience developing visualizations using Qlik, Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience using DECKPLATE or other Naval Maintenance Databases a plus.
- Experience providing support to NAVAIR IT organization/environment.
Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Active Secret clearance desired, interim Secret acceptable to start. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
Education/Experience:
BS/BA degree and minimum of 3 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 7 years related experience OR HS and 9 years related experience. Advanced degree in related subject preferred.
