Data Scientist 4
Must Haves:
-
Design and build complex analytical models
-
Apply statistical, machine learning, and advanced analytics techniques appropriately
-
Validate, document, and clearly explain results in a regulated context
-
Ensure accuracy, repeatability, and explainability of models (not just predictive power)
-
Analyze and interpret complex datasets to support program decisions
-
Build and maintain reliable datasets and comprehensive analytics documentation
-
Guide cross-functional teams on data lineage and data-driven insights
-
Partner with Product Owners, Engineering, and Compliance stakeholders
-
Operate within an Agile delivery framework
-
5–7+ years of experience in Data Science or Data Analytics
-
Strong data fundamentals (analysis, data lineage, documentation)
-
Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau (required)
-
Ability to distinguish signal from noise and translate insights into business outcomes
-
Strong problem-solving skills with senior-level autonomy
-
Experience working in Agile environments
-
Ability to work onsite 4+ days per week

Python experience
-
Experience designing data pipelines
-
Exposure to model deployment concepts
-
Experience in regulated industries (Financial Services preferred)
-
Federal government experience
-
Strong collaboration with internal stakeholders is expected
