Job Summary: As a Electrical Quality Engineer you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Electrical Control Products throughout the manufacturing process. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain quality control processes, drive continuous improvement, and uphold industry standards and regulations. This is 12+ Months Contract to hire opportunity.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a quality engineering role within the electrical manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
- Familiarity with Electrical Testing and Inspection Techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Proficiency in quality tools and software ( Six Sigma, Statistical Analysis, etc.).
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
- Must have experience in a disciplined, responsive customer service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control: Monitor, evaluate, and maintain quality standards through all stages of manufacturing, from raw materials to finished goods.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and work with teams to implement changes that enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective action plans.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and analyze quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Supplier Quality: Collaborate with suppliers to assess their quality management systems and work together to resolve quality-related issues.
- Training: Provide training and guidance to manufacturing and quality control personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Testing and Inspection: Work with Test and Inspection teams to ensure products meet defined specifications.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, driving Lean Six Sigma and other quality methodologies within the organization.
