Field Infrastructure Engineer (Midlands)

We are seeking 4x IT Field Engineers to support a Network Modernisation project within the healthcare industry. Regional and some UK travel required with up to 3 days on site, 2 from home. Familiar with routers, switches, firewalls and cabling systems. Once Network Modernisation is complete roles will become Infrastructure field based support.

Our Customer is a respected organisation within the healthcare industry. The roles will require travel across the UK South West, Midlands, London and North. We are hiring 1 Field Engineer per region to keep travel limited and local.

Description

Provide on-site & remote; IT Installation, deployment and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and networking.
Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment across multiple locations.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimise downtime.
Collaborate with the central IT team to implement technology upgrades.
Ensure Documentation and Reporting is compliant with the organisation's IT policies and standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems and support activities.
Travel between sites to deliver consistent technical support as needed.
Train and assist users in operating IT systems effectively.Profile

A successful IT Field Engineer should have:

Proven experience in IT field engineering – Installation, deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting
Proven track record of networking, server infrastructure, a variety of endpoints, and IT hardware.
Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls and cabling systems.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to travel to various locations as part of the role.
Relevant IT qualifications or certifications are advantageous.Job Offer
