Their products are sold across the homecare, long-term care, retail, and e-commerce sectors, reaching over 80 countries worldwide.
Role Overview:
As the Commercial Manager for one of their units near Burton on Trent, you will oversee all commercial activities, with a focus on growing the business within the UK.
Your role will involve identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts, assessing product offerings, and identifying market gaps. A key aspect will be understanding customer expectations and ensuring we meet them while enhancing communication and market intelligence from our field-based team.
You will provide leadership to the field-based team, mentoring product specialists and working in a business development capacity. As the main point of contact for key accounts you will build strong partnerships, seeking new business opportunities to support our growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Business Growth: Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and assess our product offerings. Explore potential new products or services that can meet market gaps and customer needs.
Leadership & Mentoring: Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the field-based team. Mentor product specialists to support the team and enhance their effectiveness.
Account Management: Act as the main contact for key accounts ensuring strong relationships and excellent service.
Business Development: Seek out new business opportunities and partnerships that align with the company’s growth strategy and can add value.
Financial Accountability: Own the commercial revenue and profit targets for the business, ensuring financial performance is tracked and reported effectively.
Representation: Represent at key trade association functions, tradeshows, and other industry events. Promote positive integration with the wider organisation, working closely with the community team to align strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience managing commercial teams.
Proven track record in business development and account management.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing revenue and profit targets.
Ability to identify market trends and capitalise on growth opportunities.
Experience working in the medical products or healthcare industry is advantageous.

Salary £85,000 plus bonus scheme and extensive benefits
