The opportunity:
- Monitors quality checks/verifications of incoming/outgoing product on a routine basis.
- Monitors quality of incoming/outgoing product per detailed procedures.
- Coordinates work priorities with DC operations.
- Documents any quality findings per the detailed procedures.
- Keeps product flow through the DC on time.
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs
- This opportunity is based in our Sales Marketing and Distribution Team.
The requirements
- High School Diploma
- 6 Months to 1 Year related experience
- Work requires almost continuous moderate physical effort OR frequent heavy physical effort (several times a day).
- Significant exposure to several disagreeable conditions or to one very disagreeable condition.
- Recurring exposure to slightly hazardous elements or occasional exposure to moderately hazardous elements; limited risk of mild injury or health problems.
- May be asked or required to wear PPE to protect from hazards.
- Prior warehouse experience preferred
- Basic Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience preferred.
- Prior experience operating Radio Frequency (RF) equipment, i.e., scanners, etc. preferred.
- Must be able to stand, squat, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis throughout the day.
- Good verbal and written communication required
- Hearing is required in order to hear instructions, safety warnings, and equipment operations.
- Vision is required in order to operate a RF keyboard and/or scanner, and to complete required data entry.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English language effectively
- Must be able to work in a team-based environment
