Our Client, a Paints Manufacturer company, is looking for a Lab Technician for their Minneapolis, MN location.
Responsibilities:
- The technician will be accountable for routine experiments, capturing/recording results, learning basic knowledge of raw materials, using lab equipment to prepare powder samples, and peforming basic performance testing.
- Maintains clean work areas and participates in Housekeeping and Safety programs as required
- Performs sample preparation and testing according to set standards: Understands and follows all Work Instructions, SOP’s and ITM’s after being trained and signed off to use equipment
- Works with manager and chemists on the team to understand project needs and priorities: Effectively communicates project timeline and results and assists team members to meet project deadlines
- Complies with all safety regulations: Follows all company and site safety rules, as well as safety rules specific to the powder lab
Requirements:
- Upkeeps Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) to document all formulation, processes, and testing data
- May use Microsoft Work/Exel/other software programs to record and report data
- May work on multiple projects at once
