Job Description:
- The Laboratory Test Technician is responsible for testing prototype samples, setting up and operating test equipment, conducting measurements, documenting results, and assisting in determining the cause of failures.
- This role requires strict adherence to established procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and company safety and housekeeping policies.
- The technician may work overtime as needed to support business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Follow established protocols to test prototype samples.
- Set up test equipment and perform measurements accurately.
- Document test results and observations in a clear and organized manner.
- Assist in determining the root cause of failures.
- Adhere to GMP, safety, and housekeeping policies.
- Work overtime as needed to meet business requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma with at least 4 years of technical experience,
- Associate degree in a scientific discipline with 1 year of laboratory experience,
- Bachelor s degree in a scientific discipline.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management.
- Ability to read, write, and analyze charts and diagrams.
- Perform basic arithmetic accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is desired.
