The Science Team at Pride Health is currently supporting a leading global organization that has an opening for a Laboratory Technician to join their Corporate Research Analytical Laboratory. This is a hands-on role supporting analytical testing, sample preparation, and laboratory operations contributing to innovative R&D activities.
 
Additional Details:
Tittle: Lab Technician
Pay range: $22.5 – $24/hour on W2 depending on experience
Contract Length: 12 Months with the possibility of extension
Location: Maplewood , MN

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, organize, and maintain laboratory spaces for analytical testing.
  • Support laboratory experiments through testing and evaluation of new materials and samples.
  • Perform sample preparation using pipetting equipment, analytical balances, cutting tools, and other lab instruments.
  • Conduct chemical testing to generate basic analytical data.
  • Perform mechanical performance testing for research, development, and quality control.
  • Carry out visual inspections and comparative testing of samples, including competitor products.
  • Accurately document test results, observations, and data.
  • Follow all laboratory safety protocols and standard operating procedures.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma with a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Laboratory Technician in a commercial, industrial, academic, or government lab
    OR
  • Associate degree in a laboratory science (chemistry, biology, microbiology, or related field).
  • Knowledge of analytical testing methods and laboratory equipment.
  • Ability to work onsite Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with analytical techniques such as mechanical or rheological testing, LC/HPLC, GC, IC, XRF, ICP spectroscopy, or titration.
  • Strong organizational skills with a self-motivated and results-driven approach.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
