FieldBridge is looking for a Laboratory Technician in Shafter, CA. We offer weekly pay + benefits.
Pay/Schedule: $20-22/hour | Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | Weekly pay every Friday | Weekend OT available | For example, at 50hrs a week and $22/hr earn a weekly paycheck of $1,210.
Position Overview: Operate laboratory equipment and manage data entry in LIMS system while maintaining accurate records and spreadsheets. This team-oriented role focuses on ICP analysis, laboratory equipment operation, and hazardous waste disposal compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma) equipment and perform analytical testing
- Perform data entry in LIMS system and create/maintain spreadsheets for laboratory data
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including IC, XRD, and XRF instruments
- Handle hazardous waste disposal following proper safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate results and efficient laboratory operations
Required Qualifications:
- ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma) experience – PRIMARY requirement
- LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) experience required
- Strong computer skills including spreadsheet creation and data entry
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry preferred (can be substituted with 5+ years strong laboratory experience)
- Experience with IC, XRD, or XRF instrumentation is a plus
- Team-oriented with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work Monday-Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM with weekend overtime as needed
- Knowledge of hazardous waste disposal procedures
