Overview
A leading R&D team is seeking a part-time Laboratory Technician to assist with lab operations, shipping coordination, and sample management. This role is essential for maintaining lab efficiency and supporting cross-functional departments including R&D, Marketing, and Sales.
Job Description
- Support routine R&D, Marketing, and Sales-related lab tasks
- Pack and prepare domestic shipments; create UPS waybills
- Receive, unpack, and process incoming shipments; notify team members
- Set up and clean up product reviews and benchtop prototypes
- Assist with sample preparation and basic lab analysis
- Maintain lab inventory and sample tracking
Required Skills
- Prior experience in a laboratory setting (preferred)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and task accuracy
- Ability to prioritize workload independently
- Basic computer proficiency (email, data entry)
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift/move packages
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
