We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician for a prominent composite material client of ours. This position is in Granville, OH. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
Pay: 24.00/hr.
Length of Assignment: 2 year contract assignment with potential for conversion.
Looking for candidates with any type of laboratory experience performing scientific/chemistry tests.
Highschool diploma / AA / or BS degree. Masters will be overqualified.
Will work closely with the Product Testing Leads to support the testing of insulation materials which may include residential batts, duct board, duct wrap, mineral wool, loose fill, FDM, and MBI. These labs are nationally accredited and must always remain in compliance with NVLAP 17025.
Perform and record various physical and thermal testing of insulation products, such as compression, tensile strength, density, dimensions, and thermal conductivity.
Provide exposure and training of physical property and thermal testing methods.
Will interface with a variety of materials, tests, and different groups within the business.
