As a member of the VCA Raleigh Hills team, you will support Doctor teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent—by delivering an outstanding client experience—so we can provide exceptional care to every patient. You’ve worked hard for your credentials (CVT, RVT, LVT) and we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:
Physical examinations and patient assessment
Anesthesia monitoring, Surgical preparation and assisting
Dentistry and dental radiographs
Laboratory and diagnostic testing
Venipuncture and Catheter placement
Patient recovery and compassionate care of our hospitalized animals
Directing workflow on the floor
Cultivate an inclusive work environment and strong hospital culture
Work cohesively with hospital management to aid in the progression of the hospital
Help with the interview process for potential new hires and onboard all new associates
Assists in the educational development of technicians and their skills
Resolve conflicts in a professional and humble manner
Refining and implementing protocols
Ensure that VCA polices, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff.
Requirements: Must have a current veterinary technician license in the state of Oregon or be eligible to transfer/obtain a license in Oregon.
Schedule: Full-time opportunity. 4 x 10-hour shifts.
Compensation: Starting at $26 – 30 / hour. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.
