- Status: Full-time
- Salary: Negotiable and based on experience & licensure
- Schedule: Four-day workweeks. WEEKENDS OFF.
- Requirements: Valid Virginia State Veterinary Technician License Required

Salty Paws Veterinary Hospital is seeking to hire a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our hospital. Practice high-quality Fear Free medicine in a beautiful state-of-the-art facility. We are looking for candidates who excel in client communication, are self-motivated, competent, hard-working, and team-focused.

What You’ll Do
- Venipuncture, IV catheter placement
- Obtaining and interpreting patient vital signs
- Perform laboratory tests (CBC, chemistry, urinalysis, fecal flotation, ear cytology etc.)
- Induce and monitor anesthesia
- Surgical assisting & monitoring
- Perform dental prophylaxis, charting
- Care for hospitalized patients
- Administer medications (oral, injectable, transdermal…)
- Obtaining radiographs
