Medical Director – Endoscopy
About the Role:
Concept Care Solutions are seeking a senior Consultant Gastroenterologist or experienced Endoscopy Clinical Lead to take on a Medical Director role across two advanced endoscopy centres in Kent and Essex.
You’ll be stepping into a role, with responsibility for clinical leadership, governance, and strategic oversight of both sites.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day and strategic clinical governance of the endoscopy service.
*
Ensure compliance with JAG accreditation standards and patient safety KPIs.
*
Work with centre managers on scheduling, service delivery, and performance improvement.
*
Support and develop endoscopy staff including doctors, nurses, and techs.
*
Lead on audits, reporting, and incident reviews where necessary.
Ideal Candidate:
*
GMC-registered Consultant in Gastroenterology.
*
Proven experience in clinical leadership within endoscopy.
*
Up-to-date understanding of national standards (including JAG, NHS cancer pathways).
*
Confident working within a private/NHS partnership model.
*
Strong communicator with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach.
