- Level 2 Trauma Designation
- Teaching Hospital
- Chest Pain Center
- Stroke Center
Department Information:
- Census? Average patients/day? Varies
- Minimum Years of Experience required? 1 year
- Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
- Acute Care Lab Analysis
Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
- MT/MLT/MLS – must have credentialing through ASCP, AMT or AAB (only one of these)
Skills required:
- Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, Serology
Support within the Department:
- Peers
- Department Leadership
Technology/Equipment:
- EMR: EPIC
- Department specific Equipment: Beaker
Floating:

Orientation (facility and unit):
- NEO
- Departmental Orientation varies based on experience
Scheduling:
- Weekend rotation: every other
- No call
- Vacation Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
- RTO: Manager approval
