Position Details:
Medical Lab Technician- Panama City, FL
Location : 449 West 23rd Street, Panama City, FL 32405
Project Duration : Fulltime / Permanent
Shift Differentials: Evenings ($1.45); Nights ($2.50)
Sign on: $15K
Relocation Assistance: Case by Case
Shift Timing : Days (7A-7:30P with Rotating Weekends)
Nights (7P-7:30A with Rotating Weekends)
Job Summary:
- Perform technical laboratory functions including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis and immunology.
- Report test results following clinic protocols alerting providers and/or nurses about abnormal results.
- Ensure quality control in collecting specimens, ensure appropriate sampling and maintain accurate record keeping.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies. Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean, and test sterility of medical laboratory equipment.
Job Qualifications:
- Medical laboratory experience preferred. As long as candidate has state license as generalist (or qualifies for one)- they are willing to train based on any years of experience had.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s Degree or higher is preferred
- MLT, ASCP, CPT, or AMT certification required
- State of Florida Medical Laboratory Technician License
