Position Details:
Title: Microbiologist
Position Type: 1 year contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need
Job Location: Raritan, NJ
Shift: 1st Shift

Compensation: $30.50/HR
Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing on intermediates, final products, and water; support non-routine testing including validations and other required studies. Accurately document and interpret results against specifications or requirements.
- Perform environmental monitoring (viable and non-viable).
- Conduct bioburden, endotoxin, and growth promotion tests.
- Apply knowledge of microbiological testing principles, theories, and methodologies in line with current procedures and Pharmacopoeias.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment; manage supply inventory levels.
- Stay current with quality guidelines and regulations (GxP).
- Participate in laboratory investigations, technology transfers, validations, and R&D projects.
Qualifications:
- B.S. or B.A. in Biology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of laboratory experience in a regulated environment.
- Experience with microbiological testing.
- Knowledge of quality guidelines, standards, and regulations (GxP).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in a regulated environment preferred.
