Located in Phoenix, AZ
2nd shift – 2pm – 10pm with a paid lunch
Direct Hire opportunity with the company.
As the Process Technician you would be responsible for overseeing the teardown and setup of injection molding machines for each production run.
Duties/Responsibilities
Understands processing of different grades of plastics to make quality parts.
Help with samples of new molds and materials.
Perform color changes and material changes efficiently.
Perform first piece inspections of finished parts after a changeover.
Follows safety policies and LOTO procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Records data, creates set up sheets, maintains change logs.
Keeps work areas clean and organized.
Must have good organizational skills.
Ability to use Shot scope or other production monitoring software.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications
2+ years’ experience in injection molding with mold setup and troubleshooting experience.
Prior experience working on molding machines such as Husky, BMB, Van Dorn and/or Milacron are a plus.
Lift and handle 55 lbs occasionally, good hand/eye coordination, good mechanical aptitude.
Basic computer knowledge, good communication skills.
High School Diploma or GED, required.
Will be subject to pre-employment screening.
