Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Compatibility QA Analyst to join our dynamic Game Operations team, focusing on mobile gaming for iOS and Android platforms. This role involves a blend of 20% testing and 80% quality analysis, aimed at ensuring the highest game functionality and stability across a wide range of consumer devices. The successful candidate will work closely with both technical and business units, becoming a key player in developing QA strategies and ensuring product excellence before market release.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on mobile compatibility, focusing on device configurations and performance metrics.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and triaging for game compatibility across iOS and Android devices, along with other consumer platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test plans, create/maintain test cases, and report on testing outcomes.
- Proactively identify and communicate significant issues affecting product quality, device compatibility, or project timelines.
- Engage in continuous development of testing tools and frameworks to enhance QA testing efforts across the Compatibility, Compliance, and Cloud (CCQA) space.
Must-Have Skills:
- Exceptional testing experience with iOS and Android devices.
- Proficiency with Xcode and ADB tools.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities.
Industry Experience:
Experience in the gaming industry is highly preferred, with a minimum of 4 years in QA and at least 3 years focused on compatibility testing.
