Job Description:
Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing and executing automated test frameworks to ensure the high quality and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate has a string background in building infrastructure for integration and UI testing and is comfortable working closely with developers, product managers and support teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain infrastructure for integration and UI test automation.
- Write and execute automated test cases to validate application functionality, performance and reliability.
- Perform manual testing for specific scenarios when automation is not feasible or practical.
- Verify bugs and user stories to ensure requirements are met and issues are resolved.
- Collaborate with development and product managers to understand feature requirements and provide test coverage.
- Provide internal support by investigating issues, triaging bugs and assisting other teams with QA-related concerns
- Continuously improve test processes and tools to increase efficiency and reliability of the QA pipeline.
Knowledge and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in QA Automation with focus on building and maintaining infrastructure for integration and UI testing.
- Strong knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Playwright, etc.).
- Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages commonly used in test automation.
- Experience with manual testing and clear understanding of test case design and execution.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines and QA best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong sense of ownership.
Preferred
- Knowledge in financial services, especially around trading, real time market data and derivatives.
- Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
