About the Role:
Our client, a Fortune 20 healthcare leader, is seeking an IT Quality Assurance Engineer to support enterprise software testing initiatives across the organization. This individual will collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure systems and applications meet quality and compliance standards.
This is a 100% remote W2 contract opportunity—ideal for quality professionals with solid IT QA foundations and experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals or healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and execute test cases and test plans based on business and technical requirements

Conduct manual and automated testing of enterprise applications and integrations

Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA, ALM, or TestRail

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, resolve, and validate defects

Apply risk-based and requirements-based testing methodologies
-
Analyze defect trends and contribute to continuous process improvements

Ensure software quality standards align with internal policies and healthcare compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Saleforce Application Testing

4+ years of professional experience in QA, software testing, or IT quality control

Familiarity with testing tools such as JIRA, qTest, ALM, or similar

Experience in Agile or hybrid software development environments

Exposure to test automation tools or scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Postman, Python) is a plus

Previous experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry strongly preferred

Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
