QC Engineer
Erie, PA (Onsite Position Monday – Friday)
Contract-to-direct hire, Long-term
Start: ASAP
Pay Range: $30.00-$50.00/hr DOE
Job Responsibilities:
Performing QC inspections, documentation, RT film overlays, and managing the quality program.
Interpreting radiographic film of weld joints/roots
Annual calibration log/record upkeeping
Weekly meeting and review with the 3 rd Party A.I. (Authorized Inspector)
Creating and tracking weld maps
Job Requirements:
Firm knowledge and understanding of ASME B 31.3
Understanding welding symbols, tolerance, defects
Experience with and ability to maintain ISO 9001 certified system (company rep)
Ability to perform visual inspections and hydro
Understanding and firm knowledge of weld specs
Annual review with HSB (Hartford Steam Boiler) to stay ASME certified
Bonus skill: ability or potential to work into the future role of a QC Manager.
