Overview:
The Quality Control Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and analyses to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves conducting routine quality control tests, analyzing data, and documenting results.
Responsibilities:
Prepares samples for testing
Performs visual inspection and dimensional analysis using vision system
Sample testing for fiber characteristics such as performance using various testing equipment (Measurement equipment, refractometer, spectrophotometer)
Preparation of chemical solutions for marker testing
Routine in house calibration on some equipment as needed
Ensure compliance to current SOP’s and Work Instructions
Records test data in excel spreadsheet
Maintenance of laboratory glassware and inventory
Adherence to all company Quality policies and procedures
Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly
Qualifications:
Laboratory or manufacturing setting work experience preferred, within a controlled Quality environment
1 year of Lab Works experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information
Capable of prioritizing tasks and time management
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate effectively, especially within a team environment

The estimated hourly rate range for this role, based in the United States of America is $22-24. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual’s qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
