QP / QA Manager

Our client is a small pharmaceutical GMP site near Watford, that have undergone an impressive 3 year long transformation, and have come out the otherside, about to enter a period of immense growth.
This business is entrepreneurial, fast paced, and is in the hands of highly capable and respected professionals in their field.
Now, due to their continued success and expansion, they are looking for a new Qualified Person / QA Manager (Operations) to join their team!
THE ROLE
* Support QA, RA and other QPs in all areas of batch release and compliance
* Act as the releasing QP
* Support the recall committee to support recalls and mock recalls as necessary
* GMDP training and development for the QA ops group
* Ensure full compliance with all company SOPs
* Suppert the Head of QA and RA with any other duties as reasonably required by the department
More specific requirements around QP activities, QMS and GMP oversight etc. available from ARx upon request.
REQUIREMENTS
* A QP (Qualified Person) on a UK licence for batch release
* Ability to work as an RP / RPi on the license is desirable but not strictly necessary
* MBA desirable but not necessary
* 5-8 years experience within UK pharma industry in QA environment
* 2-3 years of management or leadership experience
* Experience of working with non sterile dosage forms
