DELIVERY ASSURANCE COORDINATOR

HQ Aero is currently recruiting for a DELIVERY ASSURANCE COORDINATOR in BRIDGEPORT, WV
Job Overview:
The Delivery Assurance Coordinator is the primary contact for the customer and responsible for implementing solutions and process improvements to ensure on-time delivery. Applicants must have solid manufacturing experience with focus on root cause analysis and effective interpersonal communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships. This role acts as the liaison between the company and the customer, and must possess a strong work ethic, proactively identify opportunities to improve services and have a strong commitment to Quality and EH&S.
Responsibilities and Duties (included but not limited to)
- Manages delivery assurance processes and/or works to achieve day-to-day delivery assurance objectives
- Implements solutions to issues such as the coordination of parts deliveries and material flow to ensure on-time delivery, and to identify root causes that impacts on-time delivery
- Implements process improvements and works with the customer to ensure early identification of shortages
- Collaborates with other departments as necessary regarding meeting requirements to minimize negative impacts to the customer in the case of shortages
- Works with Customer Service daily to communicate commitments and recovery plans
- Tracks and manages work in process (WIP) and expedites unique requests that stem from lineup changes or any other circumstance to ensure on-time delivery and flow to customer
- Performs escalated expediting when required
- Monitor production operations and identify manufacturing process improvement opportunities, prepare presentations and lead meetings
- Drive actions to mitigate potential delivery delays by identifying risks, performing root cause analysis and development of recovery plans to bring shipments back in-line with customer requirements
- Continuous performance improvement mindset and the ability to lead and inspire change
- Work closely with Quality and Production Teams to address non-conformance issues that may affect assembly/shipment schedules
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution OR
- In absence of a degree, relevant equivalent experience is required
- Must possess a valid unrestricted U.S. driver's license
- Excellent organization, time management, presentation, process documentation, problem solving, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Strong Aviation experience
- Customer facing experience
- Experience leveraging strong communication skills to deliver results to the customer
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams to resolve customer delivery and quality issues
- Demonstrated experience with SAP Systems
- Ability to demonstrate strong Microsoft Office skills
- Continuous Improvement background and demonstrated ability to lead and drive projects to closure/Lean Six Sigma

- Must be able to work as a part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Must be a self-starter, able to work with little to no guidance. Must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to multi-task.
- Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, Position requires frequent walking, standing and/or climbing.
- Work Environment: FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
