Description
Develop and execute comprehensive test cases based on functional requirements.
Understand data flow and testing strategies for data processing and storage systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build test cases for new features.
Perform manual and automated testing, documenting results and findings.
Identify, debug, and report software errors and inconsistencies.
Ensure quality principles are applied throughout the product lifecycle.
Maintain adherence to standards and processes within projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed test cases from functional requirements.
Execute testing at all levels, including functional, integration, and regression.
Collaborate with development teams for defect triaging.
Track software defects and provide timely solutions.
Document and troubleshoot errors effectively.
Manage competing priorities and be self-directed in task completion.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related field.
Experience in software testing and quality assurance.
Proficiency in data processing and storage system technologies.
Strong experience in writing complex queries and using test management software.
Familiarity with project life cycles and agile methodologies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work with globally distributed teams.
