Job Description:
Pay Range: $19.50hr -$24.50hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Due to the nature of the job, the candidate should be able to lift 50 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to work in varying temperature environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience:
- General office or data entry experience.
- Zero to three years of QA inspection experience preferred.
- Manufacturing experience in biotech or pharmaceutical environments preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspections of bottled products, components, kits, and sets.
- Verify vial volume, labeling accuracy, batch numbers, material numbers, and storage conditions.
- Review packaging batch records to ensure correct documentation and inserts are included.
- Review dilution, bottling, and packaging processes to confirm products meet specifications prior to release.
- Release finished products and components to inventory following verification.
- Review and verify raw material supplier documentation prior to inventory release.
- Maintain QA retention samples and retention sample inventory.
- Perform temperature monitoring of QA storage units.
- Enter and maintain inspection and inventory data in systems.
- Support internal teams including Operations, Packaging, Production Planning, Quality, and Inventory Control.
- Support external customer requirements as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Should Have:
- Inspection experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical environment.
- Quality assurance experience in regulated manufacturing settings.
- Familiarity with inventory control processes.
Skills:
- Quality inspection and visual verification.
- Documentation review and compliance.
- Data entry and system navigation.
- Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.
- SAP knowledge preferred.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Team collaboration.
Qualifications and Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree or college-level science coursework preferred.
