Summary:
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) for a contract position. The ideal candidate has great communication skills, can remove roadblocks, detail oriented, and has a knack for breaking websites. QAE’s regularly work with Developers, Product Managers and other Quality Engineers to ensure the proper operation of the production environment. During the development cycle, QAEs identify use cases, create test cases, execute tests, and report results.
Job Duties: Work closely with engineers and business owners throughout the development and testing lifecycle, including the requirements gathering and design analysis
Drive the creation of test plans and test cases, efficiently execute test cases across all functional and UI areas of our products
Interpret and report testing results, and be an advocate for quality in every phase of the development process
Automate all the test cases for the features before the deployments, focused on UI, API or Mobile automation for Company Payment products using Java, open source and Company tools.
Qualifications: BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience 4-6 years industry experience testing software, including website applications.
Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Java
Experience with Selenium highly desired to write automated test cases.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Proficiency working in a Linux/Unix environment.
Experience with QA process and Software Development Life Cycle.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $43.00 – $47.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
