Quality Control Inspector FAA Repair Station (First Shift)
Summary:
Seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to perform inspections, maintenance, and alterations on turbofan-powered business aircraft to ensure compliance, airworthiness, and quality standards.
Requirements:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate
- Minimum
- 3-5+ years of experience in business aircraft maintenance and alterations
- Proficient in inspection methods, tools, and techniques
- Strong understanding of FAA regulations and Repair Station procedures
- Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Training in Human Factors, RVSM, and applicable airframe/engine/avionics systems preferred
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, document, and approve aircraft maintenance and alterations for return to service
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and Repair Station/Quality Control Manual (RSM/QCM)
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and component repair as qualified
- Support off-site inspection and maintenance activities as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of work performed
- Assist and collaborate with other technicians to ensure quality and efficiency
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards
