We are seeking a hands-on Shipping Supervisor to join a leading automotive manufacturer. This is a fast-paced, high-volume plant specializing in injection molding and supporting major automotive customers. You’ll take ownership of shipping and receiving operations, lead a large team, and ensure flawless execution of logistics in a dynamic environment.

Job Details
What You’ll Do:
- Lead overnight shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery to automotive customers.
- Utilize Epicor ERP to manage incoming/outgoing orders, transfers, and inventory control.
- Supervise and develop a night-shift team of 20+, providing coaching, feedback, and performance management.
- Oversee labeling, documentation, and reporting requirements for customer and supplier shipments.
- Partner with Materials, Production, and Quality to resolve logistics challenges quickly and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with IATF16949 and ISO14001 standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in logistics, safety, and operational performance.
- Maintain strict adherence to 5S and workplace organization practices.
- Act as a key point of contact for escalated logistics issues with customers.
What We’re Looking For:
- Automotive manufacturing experience is required.
- 5+ years in inventory control, operations, or materials management.
- 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of shipping/receiving processes in a high-volume automotive plant.
- ERP experience (Epicor highly valued).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership ability.
- Ability to manage and motivate an overnight team and adapt to changing priorities.
- Lift truck license (preferred).
