Job Summary
The Quality Control Supervisor leads quality assurance activities within an industrial printing facility, ensuring products meet internal standards and customer requirements. This role focuses on training and developing Quality Technicians, driving root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to improve print quality, reduce defects, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and train Quality Technicians, ensuring consistent inspection methods, documentation, and adherence to quality standards.
Lead root cause analysis for quality issues using structured problem-solving tools and collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve defects.
Develop, implement, and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve quality performance and reduce rework and waste.
Monitor quality metrics, analyze trends, and report findings to leadership while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, customer specifications, and applicable industry standards.
Qualifications
3–5 years of quality or supervisory experience in an industrial printing, manufacturing, or production environment.
Strong background in quality systems, root cause analysis, and corrective action methodologies.
Proven ability to train, coach, and lead technical staff with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
