Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team for a 6-month project. This role involves working closely with our team to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.

Required Skills & Qualifications

(Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
  • Candidate should not be on OPT EAD
  • 6 to 8 years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automated testing.

  • Hands-on experience with TestComplete automation tool.

  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages supported by TestComplete (VBScript, JavaScript, Python, etc.).

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

  • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.

  • Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

(Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

  • Experience in a similar industry or role
  • Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies
  • Advanced certifications related to quality engineering

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

(

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using TestComplete to support functional, regression, and integration testing.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and define test cases.

  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.

  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and other QA documentation.

  • Execute automated test suites and report on test coverage, test results, and quality metrics.

  • Continuously improve automated testing frameworks and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in best practices for automation testing.

  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure quality is embedded in the software development lifecycl
