Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team for a 6-month project. This role involves working closely with our team to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
Required Skills & Qualifications

- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- Candidate should not be on OPT EAD
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

7+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automated testing.

Hands-on experience with TestComplete automation tool.

Strong knowledge of scripting languages supported by TestComplete (VBScript, JavaScript, Python, etc.).

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.

Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications

- Experience in a similar industry or role
- Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies
- Advanced certifications related to quality engineering
Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using TestComplete to support functional, regression, and integration testing.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and define test cases.

Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.

Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and other QA documentation.

Execute automated test suites and report on test coverage, test results, and quality metrics.

Continuously improve automated testing frameworks and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in best practices for automation testing.

Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure quality is embedded in the software development lifecycl
