Job Summary: Inspects and tests subassemblies and top-level devices to determine conformance to defined requirements. Maintains inspection through-put to meet delivery requirements. This position typically works under general supervision and direction.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Edits errors in inspection templates.

Trains new quality inspectors on current and new test methods.

Pilots and redlines new releases of test and inspection instructions.

Sets up test cells with engineering or technician assistance.

Maintains inspection requirements for production/shipping schedule; including end of day requirements to meet urgent schedule needs.

Performs other tasks as assigned by Quality Control (QC) supervisor, foreman or manager.
Minimum Job Requirements:

Two-year college degree, or equivalent, plus a minimum of two years' experience in a direct quality role.

Drawing comprehension and use of measuring tool experience is required.

Able to use Microsoft Windows based programs.

Able to successfully pilot and redline test instructions for technical editor.

Able to outline new processes or redline existing process flow charts.

Able to lift to 50 pounds repeatedly during workday.

Able to bend, kneel and stand repeatedly during workday.

Requires 20/20 vision or correctable to 20/20 and normal color vision.
