Quality Inspector

We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Quality Inspector with hands-on experience in Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers and/or Pressure Vessels. This is a critical role requiring strong attention to detail and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality inspections on Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers and Pressure Vessels.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety-sensitive procedures.
  • Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools for accurate measurements.
  • Conduct various tests including Mag particle, hardness, and chemical analysis.
  • Interpret X-ray and dye penetrant testing results.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections and findings.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in quality inspection of Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers and Pressure Vessels.
  • Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and T-gauges.
  • Ability to operate Mag particle testers, hardness testers, and chemical analyzers.
  • Competency in X-ray interpretation and dye penetrant testing.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with dimensional scanners such as Keyence WM600 3D Probe & Scanner.
  • Experience with weld and finisher gauges, micro-finishers, and dial calipers.
  • Understanding of quality control and assurance processes.

Work Environment:

Work in a non-climate-controlled environment during the night shift, from 4:00 PM to 3:00 AM, with shifts approximately 10 hours long and a minimum of 50 hours per week.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
