Role Summary
Lead the quality assurance operations, ensuring internal and customer quality standards are met. Oversee inspection, supplier quality, product reliability, audits, and continuous improvement. Liaise with clients, internal engineering/manufacturing teams, and suppliers to monitor, analyze, and improve quality performance.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee QA operations: inspections, supplier management, root cause analysis, and product reliability programs.

Develop, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS). Includes training programs for staff.

Lead internal audits and support external certifications / ensure compliance with relevant industry standards. Drive quality improvement initiatives (defects reduction, preventive measures).

Manage customer complaints: coordinate responses, corrective action plans, and preventive actions.

Engage with clients via regular quality meetings and action plans.

Lead and develop the QA team; foster accountability and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
-
Experience: Minimum ~5+ years in quality assurance / quality management roles, including at least ~3 years in a managerial / leadership capacity.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, or a related technical field.

Technical Skills & Standards:
-
Familiarity with SMT (Surface Mount Technology) processes.

Knowledge of IPC-610 / IPC-600 standards.

SPC (Statistical Process Control), Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma.

Language / Communication: Fluency in English and Chinese. Strong communication skills.

Other preferred / nice-to-have: Experience with IATF 16949, ISO 26262, ISO 13485 or similar. Ability to manage stress, cross-department collaboration.
