Position Overview:
Now Hiring: Quality Manager
Location: Detroit, MI
Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000
Are you passionate about building quality into every step of the manufacturing process? Milton Manufacturing is looking for a Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance team and drive continuous improvement across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Oversee and improve quality systems to meet ISO 9001 and customer standards.
- Manage internal and external audits, corrective actions, and root cause analysis.
- Partner with engineering, production, and leadership to proactively solve quality challenges.
- Monitor key quality metrics and present results to management.
- Support new product introductions to ensure quality readiness.
- Promote Lean initiatives and continuous improvement across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of quality leadership experience in manufacturing (metal fabrication a plus).
- Knowledge of welding, machining, forming, paint, and finishing operations.
- Strong skills in ISO 9001, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, GD&T, inspection methods, and quality tools.
- Supervisory and leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop teams.
- Lean Six Sigma certification and union environment experience a plus.

Pay Range:
USD $70,000.00 – USD $80,000.00 /Yr.
