About the Role:
The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and compliance functions within a manufacturing environment. This role leads the quality department, manages quality systems, and ensures products meet regulatory standards, contractual obligations, and customer requirements. The Quality Manager drives continuous improvement initiatives, audits, and corrective actions to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the quality assurance team, setting department goals and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Maintain and update the Quality Manual and ensure compliance with ISO9001, AS9100, and customer-specific requirements.

Develop, implement, and monitor quality systems, procedures, and internal controls to meet regulatory and certification standards.

Conduct internal, external, and supplier audits to assess compliance with standards and identify opportunities for improvement.

Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.

Collaborate with engineering, operations, and production teams to improve product designs, manufacturing processes, and training programs.

Implement quality metrics and statistical analysis to monitor performance, efficiency, and compliance.

Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions to enhance satisfaction and product reliability.

Oversee inspection methods, metrology equipment, calibration processes, and testing procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelors degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field, with at least 5 years of proven quality management experience in manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, and other applicable quality standards.

Certified ISO9001/AS9100 Lead Auditor.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, MRP systems, and SAP (preferred).

Demonstrated expertise in statistical process control, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.

Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and inventory control systems such as Kanban or SMI.

Solid understanding of metrology, inspection equipment, and calibration procedures.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, coach, and develop teams.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Desired Qualifications:

Advanced degree or professional certification in quality management, Six Sigma, or lean methodologies.

Experience working in aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing industries.

Knowledge of continuous flow manufacturing and advanced quality tools.

Proven ability to foster cross-functional collaboration and improve operational efficiency.

Strong organizational, planning, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
