Our client is seeking a dynamic leader to guide their Quality Department and champion a culture of excellence. This role is pivotal in developing and executing a quality strategy that aligns with corporate objectives and ensures superior standards across all operations.
- Lead and mentor the Quality Team, fostering professional growth and aligning performance with objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align processes with quality standards and best practices.
- Develop and implement a site-specific quality strategy, ensuring project timelines and deliverables are achieved.
- Represent the quality function in strategic planning and decision-making forums.
- Implement and maintain an integrated management system compliant with ISO standards.
- Oversee corrective and preventive actions, using data analysis to drive resolutions.
- Define and monitor key quality performance indicators to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to improve supply chain reliability.
- Coordinate and lead audits, ensuring facility-wide readiness and compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide strategic guidance using tools like FMEAs and control plans.
- Design and implement comprehensive documentation to ensure consistent training and compliance.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a science discipline, with preference for Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
- 5 years of related manufacturing experience, including 2 years leading quality in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience as a manufacturing or process engineer is preferred.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Expertise in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in technical writing and documentation.
- Experience in customer complaint investigation and failure analysis.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of ASTM testing standards and statistical analysis tools.
- Hands-on experience with FMEA, Control Plans, APQP, SPC, and MSA.
