Pay Rate: $24.37 – $25.00/hr
Duration: 5 months+
Hours: 7:30am- 4:00pm, M-F
Summary:
- Manufactures pilot-scale batches according to batch instructions and operating procedures (SOPs)
- Maintains detailed documentation for each batch produced.
- Weighing ingredients accurately for Pilot Plant sample.
- Assist in setting up, change over, and test run equipment for various-sized vials and packages as required
- Works all areas of production operation: weighing, blending, filling, packaging, cleaning*
- Accurately weighs product*
- Blends product according to batch record and SOP*
- Cleans equipment and rooms to specifications
- Working in lab to assist or self-work on lab equipment
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- Adapts quickly to changes in work priorities
- Good communications skills (verbal and written
- Must be well organized and detail oriented with strong desire to explore innovation, expand knowledge base.
- Must be proactive, reliable and self-motivated
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
- Team building skills and experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work across functions
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE's) requirements
- Constant walking and standing on hard concrete service
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and lifting.
- Other conditions include dust and fumes.
